How can WeGoTogether® help with my weight management?

What’s the difference between my Coach and the Wegovy® Navigation Line?

Your Coach is one person dedicated to supporting you, and the Wegovy® Navigation Line is staffed by many consultants. Coaches and consultants are both certified in weight management.

Your Coach makes time to talk or message with you regularly, get to know you, help you set goals and tiny steps, and answer any questions you may have. You have the choice of live coaching (scheduled phone calls) or digital coaching (text messages and emails). You can see your Coach’s bio and contact information on the My Coaching page.

Call the Wegovy® Navigation Line if you’d like information about Wegovy®, insurance coverage, or weight management in general. Our consultants can answer your questions and help you find the support you need. You can call the Wegovy® Navigation Line at 1-833-4-WEGOVY Monday-Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET.

How can I schedule a time for my Coach to call me?

If you have activated live coaching, you can schedule your first coaching call by email or on the portal home screen when you log in. After that, you and your Coach can arrange your next call at the end of your weekly meeting. If you ever need to reach your Coach outside of your scheduled call, just send them an email or text, and the Coach will work with you to find a time that works with both of your schedules.

Note: Any time your Coach calls, your caller ID will display a 205 area code.

How much does WeGoTogether® coaching cost?

Coaching is completely free to anyone who has joined WeGoTogether®.

What’s the difference between live and digital coaching?

With live coaching, you can schedule phone calls, as well as text and email with your Coach.

With digital coaching, you communicate with your Coach mainly by text messages and email.

With both types of coaching, the same Coach stays connected with you throughout treatment. Your Coach makes time to talk or message with you regularly, get to know you, help you set goals and tiny steps, and answer any questions you may have.

Are the WeGoTogether® portal and coaching available if I'm not taking Wegovy®?

Yes. If you stop taking Wegovy®, you can still use all the support resources of WeGoTogether®. Your Coach can continue meeting and messaging with you.

However, we recommend talking with your health care provider for any questions about your health, including side effects and restarting treatment with Wegovy®.

What are the hours when I can call my Coach?

Coaches typically make calls between 9 AM and 6 PM ET Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. However, your Coach may be available for a scheduled call outside of those hours—ask your Coach about their availability.

How much time should I spend on the WeGoTogether® portal each week?

It’s up to you. There’s a lot you can do on the portal—you can update your stats, read helpful articles, keep track of your dosing, and more. Log in as often as you like, and as often as you find it helpful.

Why is this article recommended for me?

We suggest articles that may be useful to you based on how long you’ve been taking Wegovy®. Some topics are more relevant at the beginning of your treatment, and others are more useful later on. Still, we recognize that not everyone needs the same kind of help at the same time. You can always search for any topic that interests you in your Library.

How often should I update my weight and waist measurements on the portal?

We recommend updating your weight and waist stats on the same day that you take Wegovy®. Consider logging in to your portal each week right after you take your dose. That way you can log your dose and update your stats in the same visit.

What if I forget to log a dose of Wegovy® in my portal?

We recommend logging every dose in your portal right after you take it. But it’s okay if you don’t. You can log the dose at any time—just make sure you enter the correct date. If you take a dose on a day other than your scheduled dosing day, be sure to enter the day you actually took it.

Taking Wegovy®

Wegovy® (semaglutide) injection 2.4 mg, along with a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity, is used to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular (CV) events such as death, heart attack, or stroke in adults with known heart disease and with either obesity or overweight and to help adults with obesity or overweight with weight-related medical problems, lose excess body weight and keep the weight off.

How fast can I lose weight with Wegovy®?

Everyone is different. We recommend asking your health care provider about when you may start seeing weight loss.

If my health care provider lowers my dose of Wegovy® temporarily, what happens with my coaching?

If your health care provider has adjusted your dose, that’s okay. You still have full access to coaching and all the support of WeGoTogether®. Your Coach is here to provide support related to your lifestyle, habits, and goals, so the two of you can continue meeting and messaging.
